Aah Valentines Day, was there ever a moment designed to make people feel more inadequate...?
NEW Chapter, yay...!
I've been dumped on Valentines day before it hurt but I got over it.
434 suicide deaths at ages 15 to 24 years were registered in Australia in
1995 and this statistic is growing. Australia has the third highest suicide rate in the world.
If your reading this and even contemplating it don't. All you will do is cause grief to friends and loved ones, those that you leave behind.
Seek help, there are facilities available a short time ago our premier admitted that he had depression. He is now seeking help for his problems, which shows that if a politician can admit to it, then it is better to seek help.
Give the services available a chance. I've worked with individuals who are and were depressed and suicidal. Now, many of them will go on to accomplish great things.
There is always tomorrow to make things better no matter how bad things seem if you don't like your life the way it is change it! Do something you enjoy. You may think everyone hates you and no one understands. That is not true you won't achieve anything by giving up except hurting those who love you and you can accomplish so much by still trying.
There are help lines available, and the government pours money into facilities to stop this vicious waste. Hell, why not message us on the forum...? We will talk to you help out where we can.
To those who are left behind, my heart goes out to you. I've lost friends to suicide, no matter how much you beat yourself up they won't come back. Often the signs are not there so don't blame yourself, everything is obvious in retrospect and you will make obvious the mountains that were not there.
On this final note there is always hope no matter how bad thigs get thigs will always get better.
This has been brought to you on Behalf of Mental Health Services worldwide
